Zenless Zone Zero 2.2 Seed and Trigger Signal Search: S-Rank Attack-Electric Seed, Stun-Electric Trigger, boosted Nicole/Anby, and W-Engine rate-ups.
With the Version 2.2 update, Zenless Zone Zero’s Agent and W-Engine Signal Search event opened a dual-track window that ran until 2025/09/24 at 11:59 server time. The limited S-Rank Agent Seed, an Attack-Electric fighter, and the limited S-Rank Agent Trigger, a Stun-Electric specialist, anchored two separate Exclusive Channels while the A-Rank agents Nicole (Support-Ether) and Anby (Stun-Electric) appeared with significantly boosted reception rates in both lineups. The structure worked like a split-focus lens, holding an aggressive Attack option and a disruptive Stun option in the same frame so Proxies could aim for the role their roster needed most.
Exclusive Channel roster
The exclusive banners kept their featured S-Rank Agents out of the Star-Studded Cast Stable Channel, making the event a narrow corridor rather than a permanent aisle for collectors. The two Exclusive Channels, Tearforged Blossoms and Sights of Asphodel, shared a cumulative guaranteed Signal count that remained independent from other channel types.

The first window highlighted Seed’s electric Attack kit, a tempo-driven package designed to punish enemies with sustained pressure. The second highlighted Trigger’s electric Stun profile, built to crack enemy posture and open damage phases. Nicole and Anby acted as the connective tissue between both banners, giving players repeated chances to acquire or refine useful A-Rank units.
W-Engine Channel lineup
On the W-Engine side, the limited S-Rank Attack W-Engine Cordis Germina and the limited S-Rank Stun W-Engine Spectral Gaze received boosted reception rates in their respective W-Engine Channels. The A-Rank W-Engines The Vault (Support) and Demara Battery Mark II (Stun) were also rate-up across the event.
The W-Engine Channels were named Dissonant Sonata and Vibrant Resonance. Like two fenced gardens sharing the same irrigation line, they drew from a shared cumulative guaranteed Signal count for W-Engine Channels, but that pool did not mix with the Exclusive Channel count or the Stable Channel.
Guarantee and channel rules
The event’s pity mechanics followed a clear watershed. According to the notice, the Search count for guaranteed Signals was cumulative across all Exclusive Channels, meaning progress in Tearforged Blossoms and Sights of Asphodel poured into one shared reservoir. That reservoir stayed isolated from other channel types. The same logic applied to Dissonant Sonata and Vibrant Resonance for W-Engine Channels. Trial stage and rewards
The event also included audition stages for Seed, Trigger, Nicole, and Anby. Proxies needed to reach Inter-Knot Lv. 8 and unlock the Event feature in Main Story Prologue - Intermission. The tryout area worked like a controlled firing range, letting players sample the electric snap of Seed and Trigger without spending any pulls. First-time clears granted rewards on the results screen. If a Proxy had already completed the training stage for one of the A-Rank Agents, the corresponding test-stage reward could be claimed directly from the event interface.
The structured split between Attack and Stun, supported by the same A-Rank core, made the Version 2.2 Signal Search a targeted rotation rather than a scattered one. For players deciding where to commit their tapes, the shared pity reservoirs offered a small mercy: a missed exclusive pull still counted toward the wider channel’s next guaranteed Signal.
