Hey Travelers! I’m back in Teyvat in 2026, and I just wrapped one of my favorite Ochkanatlan quests: Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist. This is the one where I team up with Bona and her fearless sidekick Cocouik to hunt the elusive Jade of Return and square off against the terrifying dragon Och-Kan. If you’re chasing Primogems or just love a good dragon beatdown, here’s my firsthand field report on how to explore Ashflow Street and collect all three Secret Source Scraps without losing your mind.

Before I could even think about facing Och-Kan, I had to gather three Secret Source Scraps. These little devices are the fuel for Cocouik’s signature move, the 'Super Awesomesauce Laser,' which can consume the Abyss’s corrosive power. Think of it as a dragon-sized can opener for shields. Are you ready? LET’S GO!

Scrap #1: The Broken Tower Southwest of Vucub Caquix Tower

My first target was a broken tower southwest of Vucub Caquix Tower. Here’s the checklist I followed, and you should too:

  • Teleport to the Vucub Caquix Tower Waypoint in Ochkanatlan.

  • Defeat any pesky enemies lurking nearby.

  • Activate Cocouik’s Ring of Light and position yourself between the two purple Phlogiston. This is the key to consuming the corrupted energy effectively.

  • Grab your first Secret Source Scrap. BOOM!

Scrap #2: The Northeast Tower with a Common Chest

Still with me? Good! For the second scrap, I headed northeast to the tower with a Common chest sitting pretty beside it. My moves were:

  • Take down the enemies guarding the area.

  • Activate Cocouik’s ability once again between the two purple cores.

  • Consume that corrupted Phlogiston!

  • After securing the second piece, watch out—Och-Kan looms over you, firing fireballs! RUN!

Scrap #3: The Stairs Northwest

Climbing up the set of stairs northwest of my last stop led me to the final Scrap. Much like before:

  • Ensure Cocouik is charged by centering her Ring of Light between the two corrupted Phlogistons.

  • Grab the last Secret Source Scrap to fully fuel Cocouik’s awesome laser beam!

Here’s a quick table I wish I had before I started:

Scrap Location Key Action Danger
#1 Broken tower southwest of Vucub Caquix Tower Ring of Light between purple Phlogiston Nearby enemies
#2 Northeast tower with Common chest Consume corrupted Phlogiston Och-Kan fireballs
#3 Stairs northwest of second spot Charge Cocouik between corrupted cores None if careful

Why Ashflow Street Still Matters in 2026

Even though I’ve cleared Natlan content multiple times, Ashflow Street remains one of those zones that rewards careful exploration. The verticality, the purple Phlogiston puzzles, and the constant threat of Och-Kan’s fireballs make it feel like a mini-dungeon. I love that Cocouik’s Ring of Light isn’t just a gimmick—it’s a required tool. If you’re a newer Traveler who pulled a shiny 2026 character and want easy Primogems, this quest is a solid detour.

My Team and Prep

I went in with a balanced team: one main DPS, one healer, one shield support, and one flex slot for elemental reactions. I also made sure to bring plenty of food buffs. The fight against Och-Kan isn’t the hardest in the game, but those fireballs can catch you off guard. Stay mobile.

With all three Secret Source Scraps collected and Cocouik’s power recharged, I was finally ready to face Och-Kan. I equipped my best team, made sure my healer was on standby, and unleashed Cocouik’s 'Super Awesomesauce Laser' to shatter the dragon’s shield. It was pure chaos, but in the best way. The battle felt like a total boss moment. If you’re struggling, don’t panic—dodge the fireballs, keep Cocouik’s laser charged, and focus on breaking that shield.

This thrilling encounter rewarded me with 40 Primogems—pure gold for all my future wishes and adventures in Genshin Impact. In 2026, with so many new banners and characters, those Primogems still feel like a win.

Completing the Vaulting The Wall Of Morning Mist Quest not only enhances my adventure but also sets the stage for future thrilling tasks in Genshin Impact. Keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming next because the world of Teyvat is filled with untold secrets and dangers waiting for fearless Travelers like you. Gear up, gather your friends, and prepare to conquer the skies!
